Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully before using SmartFlyTravel (SkyAura) services. By booking through our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions, especially regarding our role as an intermediary.

IMPORTANT: Our Role as an Intermediary

We act solely as an intermediary via a third-party booking portal/service provider. SmartFlyTravel does not operate, own, or control any airline, hotel, or travel service. All airline and service provider rules, terms, conditions, and limitations apply to your booking. We facilitate the connection between you and third-party suppliers but assume no liability for their acts, omissions, or services.

All airline/service provider fees, penalties, and fare differences are extra and solely your responsibility. Any changes, cancellations, or refunds are subject to the approval of the third-party provider and may take several months to process — if granted at all. The total cost displayed at booking is variable, dynamic, and not guaranteed until the ticket is fully issued and confirmed by the supplier.

1. Intermediary & Third-Party Booking

SmartFlyTravel (SkyAura) acts as a technology platform and authorized agent that redirects you to secure third-party booking portals, global distribution systems (GDS), and travel suppliers. We do not directly issue tickets; instead, your reservation is processed via partner systems. Consequently:

  • No direct contract of carriage exists between you and SmartFlyTravel. The airline or travel provider is solely responsible for fulfilling the travel service.
  • Fare rules vary dynamically. The price you see at search may fluctuate due to currency, availability, taxes, or supplier adjustments. We do not guarantee that the final price remains unchanged until full payment and ticket issuance.
  • Booking confirmations are subject to supplier acceptance. In rare cases, a booking may be cancelled by the provider due to pricing errors or inventory changes; in such cases, you will receive a full refund without additional liability on our part.

2. Pricing, Fees & Additional Costs

All prices displayed are estimates and subject to change based on supplier tariffs, taxes, fuel surcharges, and currency conversion. The final amount payable may include:

  • Airline-imposed fees: Seat selection, baggage, priority boarding, and onboard services.
  • Change / cancellation penalties: Imposed by the airline or third-party provider (often non-refundable).
  • Fare differences: If you modify your booking, any increase in fare price must be paid by you.
  • Service fees: Our booking partner may apply a nominal service fee per passenger. This will be disclosed before payment.
Total cost is variable and not guaranteed until the ticket is confirmed. You acknowledge that taxes, carrier surcharges, and currency exchange rates may lead to price adjustments after booking. Any such adjustment is your responsibility.

3. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Because we act as an intermediary, all modifications, cancellations, or refund requests are governed by the airline’s or travel provider’s policy. You agree that:

  • Refunds/changes are subject to approval by the third-party supplier and may take several months to process (in some cases 12–16 weeks or more).
  • No refund is guaranteed for non-refundable fares, even in cases of minor schedule changes or voluntary cancellations.
  • Penalties and administrative fees from the airline and our service provider will be deducted from any refund amount.
  • We will facilitate refund requests but cannot compel any airline to grant a refund or waiver.

If you need to change or cancel, please contact our support team at support@smartflytravel.com. However, final approval always rests with the supplier.

4. Airline and Provider Rules

Each airline, hotel, or travel service has its own terms, conditions, baggage policies, check-in deadlines, and cancellation rules. By booking via our platform, you agree to be bound by those terms. SmartFlyTravel is not liable for:

  • Flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding, or schedule changes.
  • Loss, damage, or delay of baggage.
  • Denied boarding due to invalid travel documentation (passport, visa, health certificates).
  • Airline bankruptcies or operational failures.

We strongly advise you to review the airline’s contract of carriage before travel and to purchase travel insurance.

5. Payment, Authorization & Delays

When you complete a booking, your payment is processed by a secure third-party payment gateway. We reserve the right to cancel any booking if payment authorization fails. You are responsible for any chargeback fees or bank costs incurred. In rare circumstances, ticket issuance may be delayed up to 48 hours due to supplier verification. During high-demand periods, fare differences may apply.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartFlyTravel (SkyAura) and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Reliance on information about flights, prices, or availability.
  • Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, visa services).
  • Delays in refund processing caused by external providers.
  • Technical errors, booking platform interruptions, or misdirected communications.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid to us (excluding third-party fees and taxes).

7. Travel Documentation & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring you possess valid passports, visas, health certificates, and any other required documents. We recommend checking entry requirements with the embassy of your destination. SmartFlyTravel is not liable for denied boarding or entry due to inadequate documentation.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your booking shall be resolved through arbitration in London, UK, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws. You also retain the right to bring a claim in the Small Claims Court as applicable.
